untitled

After about 6 months of owing and falling in love with the luxury it provided at an unparalleled cost I was faced with the decision to spend almost what I paid for it to have it repaired, to swap out the engine with another one or to buy another car. The decision I made was my first taste of the mod bug. I drove several other cars and found that none of them in my price range would come close to what my car did for me while behind the wheel. My final decision was to swap out the engine for a JDM Type II engine that I had imported from Japan and there was no turning back.

And now I consider myself a serious enthusiast who has performed a four engine swaps and several performance modifications to my Legend. Some of which I had been the first to do so. Some examples include running Type II cams and springs in the RL's 3.5L heads, running the RL's starter because it was lighter in weight than the Legends, running 450cc injectors without any external fuel management needs (except the Telion Chip), and I am currently having the first lightweight aluminum crank pulley designed.

A little about how it began

In this section I will introduce myself to you as Telion avid Legend Enthusiast. I have two Acura Legends; both are White 1991 L model Coupes. Since the purchase of my first Legend I have been bit by the Legend bug. My first Legend was an automatic Type I that I purchased a few years back. At that time I had no idea of the trials it would put me through nor the love for this car that those trials would soon foster. I bought the car without knowing that it had an (infamous) blown head gasket.
